Knocked off my list of possibilities (or to the bottom):
• Paul
• Giuliani
• Tancredo
• TThompson
• Brownback
• McCain

Remaining:
• Hunter
• Romney (but seems to oily)
• Gilmore
• Huckabee

I agree completely. And I'd add Fred Thompson to the mix.

Your list looks like a good one. Add Thompson to it later I hope. I was actually impressed with some of Gilmore's answers. I don't know enough about his history in VA. though.....others can fill me in. Romney did very well. He is the most articulate. He hit some notes that people understand.

But who talked about cutting taxes and spending the most? McCain. Problem is he is unacceptable to me.

Who else? I didn't hear it from Duncan Hunter, disappointedly. He did well on the border and on the WOT. But I want to know how he would cut taxes and spending in Congress. And I don't believe McCain and wouldn't want him in office even if he would do that.

The RR Library is about 15-20 mins from me. I would have liked to be there to watch it to see how they set it up. The PMSNBC set is right on the mezzanine from where I took a picture of my last from another country with AF-1 in the background who is becoming a US citizen.

Ron Paul should have been born in the late 19th century. McCain supports fed funds for embryonic stem cell research. Science has passed way beyond embryos for a while now.

Oh. They had to move the Marine One display and RR's entourage display somewhere to make room for that bunch who were invited there to watch. I want to find out how many satellite trucks were up there on top of that canyon.

My view is that those guys were gentlemen and had clarity and strength whoever you are with. There were few gray areas or touch-feely things about where they are standing.
