If she were doing this out of a civic-minded concern that the law be evenly applied, she would have given these records to the police, not ABC News.

Ah, but there's a problem, isn't there? To build a case against the johns, she'd have to admit she was running a prostitution service, which she denies. So, the solution is to give it to the press, where those people will be found guilty with no trial, no due process and no way to defend themselves, because no one will believe them. And from what I can tell, most Americans are voyeurs who can't wait to see who's on the list.

It's quite a spectacle.
