This must be seen to be appreciated. I was not able to locate the vid on the Comedy central site, so have included the link from Students for Gravel.

Basically, Gravel says war is bad, gets people killed, so lets have gays fight it, because they fight better.

Posted for the laughs, and knowing that Mike will be around to haunt the Big D in the next debata,as CNN has relented and agreed to included him. A little more incoherence should prove helpful.

I credit Colbert for revealing Gravel very quickly, basically handed him the rope.

It appears that Gravel could prove more entertaining than even Howard Dean. The vid is here My apology for the typos. I wonder if an edit function might be a good idea? Both for folks like me who botch a post, but also for words in anger, hastily typed?

That's why there's preview.

I've only seen the show a few times, but Colbert is often very funny and insightful.
He sometimes swings pretty far left, but I do so love a quick wit!

Great news! I will look forward to the next Democrat debate when the Potted Plant embarrasses the other candidates again.

Tom, I am sorry to say I used the preview, still managed mistakes.

I really meant this thread to be a source of laughs, not a complaint, or request for changes, etc.
I realised after posting that I have grown fond of the edit function on other forums. This feels like working without a net.

Yeah, but that's a positive thing.
Makes you think before posting.
That said, I've posted in haste quite a few times myself and ended up asking a mod to pull my comment.
Not to worry.
You posted a funny clip!
Thanks for the smile!

nets are for sissies. :-)

Edit functions destroy the historical accuracy of the record. Spelling and gramatical errors exist to humble us all. preview is our friend, and the “I don’t want to review this post” check-off exists to reveal our arrogance (I ALWAYS check it off, and my posts are full of errors!!!!) :-)

I also like that they call our comments “this composition”. Almost makes it sound like we thought about what we were writing, and maybe even reviewed it.

If I were going to change ONE thing about posting, it would be to make the “Your Reply” window a lot bigger. I know most people only have a few words to say, but for people like me with so much important information to convey, the size is detrimental to reviewing while typing.

Gravel was pretty funny. I’ve also wondered why the same people who complain that too many minorities and poor people are forced into the military think we need to have gays there instead.

You're right, the "Your Reply" window needs to be much bigger.
It's very tiny on my laptop,
especially given the fact that they are making print MUCH smaller than they did when I was younger! *smile*

That would be SO nice! They shouldn't let people have the option until they are either a member for 3 months or 1,000 posts. We don't want trolls covering their tracks. ;^)
