I have no idea what evidence the district attorney might have against Strickland, but I suspect, as you do, that it’s pretty thin. And yet, he had to be in it himself, and up to the ears. Can he possibly sit in his easy chair drinking a beer and reading the newspaper while his stepdaughter is being tortured, burned with cigarettes, pushed down the stairs and beaten with a baseball bat? It doesn’t compute.

Somebody left the gate open so I wandered far and wide during the month of June, but have been pulled back in and the gate is once more clicked shut, so am back to posting as before.

Did you get to wander to a good fishing spot? The boys went a few days ago, and bumped into a rather large black bear. Caught some trout and large mouth bass. I didn’t realize that my 19 yr old son hadn’t been fishing since he was 10, so he had a great time.

Very ironically, we have trout and bass at our dock right in front of this window. Also, as I told the tale to some a year ago, a large black bear wandered right up to the window and was just feet away separated only by the glass. But our wandering all the way across the country did not find us these same things.
We stayed with friends near Reno.
