"The [San Juan] school is taking the position that if it's offensive [to anyone] you can't wear it," Snider told WND.

So if I'm offended by a young Muslim woman covering her head then she'll get suspended? Does our constitution only guarantee religious freedom if your religion is new, different, or out of the mainstream?

He said at the time some students were suspended and some were simply sent home without formal punishment. At least one district abruptly halted its punishments when PJI contacted officials while another district "rounded up" students and held them for several hours, then released them without recording any punishment.

Why isn't this being called religious persecution? Unless the constitution has changed, people can't be "held" or "rounded up" against their will for their beliefs. Maybe the constitution doesn't apply in our schools anymore.

Since when do we need a special day set aside to promote the gay lifestyle? When do we get to have "heterosexual day"?
