“Vehicles in the Oregon test have the 24-cent-a-gallon state tax automatically deducted from their pump price and the 1.2 cents per mile fee since their last fill-up added.”

My comment is that it doesn’t matter how much tax we pay, it WILL NEVER BE ENOUGH TO FUND OUR BANKRUPTED GOVERNMENT PERIOD. Oregon’s share of the national debt is 1 trillion dollars, and that means the state is broke period, this means all State employees who mistakenly believe we the citizens owe them them a retirement check are simply nuts. There is simply no money to do so. Check out the PERS solvancy, then look at the States CAFR account where they hide the money. Then look at the GAO reports on the structured national debt. The economic collapse is in motion, sell off our ports, our air ports, our highways, essentualy all of our country, and you still wouldn’t even come close to paying the national debt. The Federal reserve has raped our nation.
