The point, rather, is that we are so caught up in the routine of our lives that we fail to see extraordinary beauty right in front of us.
I wonder how much is due to media advertising. We are so busy that we dont have time to eat breakfast so a stop at McDonalds is mandatory. Home cooking is prepared food from the microwave. We just have to have our blackberries, cell phones and wifi laptops with us at all times.
How did we manage before we had these things? I remember a time when people really did stop and smell the roses occasionally.
Note: I do carry a cell phone, its less expensive than landline - and women friends expect me to stay in touch. I even had to learn how to text message.
This was a lovely story devolve. For some reason I replied to another of your posts and not to this one. Thank you for sharing your daughter’s story.
My post that you replied to was more about how people treat each other in the world today.
