A side thought here. I see that it was posted by digg.com that they had to remove this number because it was “copyrighted”??? — or intellectual property rights??? [whatever...] Well, I think I know the solution to that one.
You haven’t ever heard of copyrighting (or property rights to) something *backwards* have you? I haven’t. So, simply post the number *everywhere* — backwards — with the additional comment to reverse it. Simple, I would think....

Theoretically, it would be a DMCA circumvention method/device in any form in which it could be represented.
In reality, there’s no need to “hide” it anymore. That sequence generates 270,000+ hits on Google. This toothpaste is not going back in the tube.

I think it would be cool to encrypt the magic number, then copyright your cypher, post the cypher (with rights reserved), and make the MPAA or whoever have to decrypt your copyrighted material to get to the magic numbers. Then they would be guilty of the same thing they will be alleging you did. :) sweeet!
