Two points:
- We need to arrange a permanent dirt nap for Mookie, and yesterday would not have been too soon.
And...
" They have promised to send the bill to the White House on Tuesday, the fourth anniversary of Bush declaring aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln: "Major combat operations in Iraq have ended" after Saddam Hussein was ousted in 2003. The aircraft carrier was decorated with a large "Mission Accomplished" banner."
Once again, the lamestream media arm of the 'Rats tries to put one over on the public. The "Mission Accomplished" banner on the U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln referred NOT to the overall mission to liberate Iraq from Saddam Hussein, but to the Lincoln's individual *specific* mission, which WAS 'accomplished' and there is no question about that.
What the leftists and America-haters try to do every time they cite President Bush's address from the Lincoln, is to suggest that the M/A banner was there as a proclamation that the war was over in Iraq. It was not. It is not now. But the seditionist copperhead Democrats are damned and determined to make it impossible for America to win in Iraq, because they would rather see America lose the war, so they can ride that defeat back into power at the presidential level in '08.
