BWAHAHAH!!

The FEAR OF FRED is spreading....

CafeNow’s Blog
Hannity and Thompson lie about Reid
By CafeNow | bio

Well, I just watched Sean Hannity and former senator Fred Thompson lie on Fox Noise about what Sen Reid said about the Iraq war.

This quote is from the following URL,

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,267181,00.html

Please note this is a FOX NEWS web site.

The quote in question is as follows:

“Now I believe, myself, that the secretary of state, the secretary of defense and you have to make your own decision as to what the president knows: that this war is lost, that the surge is not accomplishing anything,” Reid, D-Nev., told reporters.

Nowhere in this quote does Reid say that he thinks the war is lost.

Admittedly the language is a little convoluted, but it appears he’s saying he believes the Sec of State and the Sec of Defense think the war is lost.

It’s nice to see that Fred is willing to go on Fox with Hannity and lie.

Is this the right wing hero? A liar?

Is this twisted, tortured "logic" typical on such sites? If it is, that would explain how dhimmis like whiteflagreid and burquapelosi enjoy so much support from the looneyleft.

I’m just curious. Who would you back in 08 for the Presidential slot?

Sounds to me like Harry is lying. I don’t think the SOS or the SOD ever said the war is lost, and I don’t think the President would ever say the war is lost. Reid is just an arrogant a-hole.

Let’s set the facts straight. You said per the Fox news article, Reid never said the war is “lost”. The article DOES NOT contain everything he said, but the quote under the headline sure says it. And every MSM, etc. says the same thing.

“Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid on Thursday said the war in Iraq is lost militarily and “can only be won diplomatically, politically and economically” after more than four years of fighting”.

Lying is a false statement made with deliberate intent.

"...what the president knows: that this war is lost, that the surge is not accomplishing anything"

Reid is rambling (babbling) in that quote, but I take him to be asserting that Pres. Bush "knows" that "this war is lost" but won't admit it....... since the surge has hardly begun and is going well in very many respects, this is just the usual Defeatocrat propaganda.

Amazing how they can pull linguistic cartwheels and be so stupid. If he asserts that Bush “knows” that the war is lost, then he asserts that the war is lost; you cannot know something that isn’t true; you can only mistakenly believe it.
