It's ironic that after unsuccessfuly trying so hard to convince us that this war is "another Vietnam", they're now working to make it
end like Vietnam. They're trying through relentless propaganda to destroy the American public's will to wage the war, and then choke off the money so that the U.S. is forced to abandon it. I still remember Richard Nixon's effort to put a good face on defeat by calling it "peace with honor", as we ran out South Vietnam and left millions to die there and in Cambodia.
That's what the Democrats want--our ignominious surrender, and our abandonment of the Iraqis to tyranny and death. It won't bother the Dems a bit. The only thing they care about is their own power. If they succeed in this disgraceful, treasonous effort, it will be 100 years before any nation trusts the U.S. again.
