“pretend to be nervous and inexperienced.”
And, for heaven’s sake, don’t tell him his is the biggest you’ve ever seen! :)
Reminds me of:
Q: So, are you a virgin?
A: Why does everybody ask me that?
I guess this is going to be one of those...”depends on what the meaning of is, is”.
You’re spot-on, as our British Friends might say. Speaking of Great Britain, it sounds as though the Test for Witches, as done in Monty’s Python’s epic film The Holy Grail, is going to enjoy a resurgence in popularity, although with far less mirth involved when it’s modified for real-life application to prospective muslim brides.
(It went something along the lines of “if she floats and is lighter than a duck, she is a witch because witches are made of wood” or something along those lines. I know I’ve mangled it and hopefully any Python fans reading this will set me right as to the precise structure of the Witch Test.)
I had a rhinoplasty.
Got my rhino back.
You wanted your rhino to become a virgin?
“All the women who spoke to Reuters did so condition that their identities not be revealed.”
This doesn’t pass the sniff test.
Beats me as to the quote, haven’t seen The Holy Grail in many a year. :o)
I wonder if he could sue for false advertising once you’re found out?
As long as we're discussing frogs here, why not use a froggish word?
So when do the Muslim Girls Go Wild videos come out? I have a gut feeling these muslim woman are going to absolutely let loose and “sow some oats” so to speak, or is that play the fiddle? stroke the trombone?
I am laughing at all those muslim men that fall for an ex-hooker who gets the procedure.
And of course now it means the 72 virgins will forever stay virgins, the more enjoyable form of recycling!
And then the dating ads will say “recently overhauled to be like new”.
Considering that this matter is between muslims, and it's a matter of a woman's honor and an uneducated 'man's' pride, my guess is that such a legal recourse would be set aside in favor of simply beating her to death in the street, as is the muslim tradition.
This doesnt pass the sniff test.
Are you of the opinion that a muslim woman who had undergone such a procedure would want her identity to be publicly revealed?
Muslim virginity offsets.
Get your virginity credits to offset your past transgressions!
Now dont steal my idea!
Hate to burst your...bubble.
But I beat you to it. (Read the whole link.)
Cheers!
Staring marriage with a lie, but at least there’s a chance she’ll be alive 24 hours from the wedding night.
Take your pick!
(Now that last one is also a good dramatization of Rudy Julie-Anny...)
Cheers!
If they were that scared you would have thought they wouldn’t have risked it to begin with.
Hi,
No, you’re correct, there are areas of lawlessness in the French suburbs. (one of the reasons that Sarkozy is doing so well)
And to be honest, there are areas of lawlessness in inner cities in the US, no? —OK, no stoning, just shooting.
I just get frustrated by the lack of knowledge of posters here, who have never been to France, and who’s total knowledge of social commentary is some Simpson’s ‘cheese eating surrender monkey’ quote.
The Russian I remember so well was a Christian from Southeastern Russia, and her daughter was marrying someone who was assuming that she was a virgin (how do they check? the sheet in the morning?) In any case; no, there would have been no stoning, but the wedding depended on it.
In Brooklyn it is a procedure that could be easily found, even 10 years ago.
We moved to France in 2001, and things are just not so clear cut France/bad US/good.
We all vote absentee in the US, and I consider myself an American first. (my husband is French, and he is probably socially French, but professionally, American- difficult to explain...)
There are so many interesting things to learn and appreciate in living in a different country.
Assimilation has been a catastrophy here. Etc,
If you’re interested I’ll tell you an interesting anecdote concerning that Hermes/Oprah dispute last year from the French point of view.

“Another of Abecassis’ patients, a 22-year-old Algerian immigrant who asked to be called Karima, said most young women had the operation to respect their culture or family tradition, not for religious reasons.
In fact, neither woman is a practicing Muslim. They dress, speak and act like other young Parisians, but are also part of a growing silent group of women who juggle traditional Muslim and modern French values.”
