These lefties are scared to death of a Thompson candidacy. I love fear in the afternoon (or any other time of day, for that matter) when it comes from the left.

GOP consultant Roger Stone explained the basis of Giuliani's appeal to Texas Republicans. "Stylistically, Texans like the Giuliani swagger..."Some jokes practically write themselves.

Jonathan Chait is a smarmy leftist liar and this column is typical Chaitery.
the last of which was commemorated by the casting of 30 Kerik busts
There are commemorative busts of every police commissioner.
Kerik is a corrupt individual, but he did at least do his job efficiently as commissioner while he was enriching himself on the side.
Chait prefers grifters who let criminals run riot, as opposed to grifters who don't.

That’s all we need.....liberals telling us what we want and don’t want in a Pres candidate. They scared of Thompson folks and they DO Not want to face him in the general.
To: stephenjohnbanker
It’s not a RINO hit piece. It’s a liberal hit piece. Some people have RINO on the brain.

"Their appreciation of him," wrote Novak, "stems not from his eight years as a U.S. senator from Tennessee but his actor's role as district attorney of Manhattan on Law & Order I've never seen Law and Order, I can't watch any fiction about attorneys. I do like Fred Thompson because of who he is in real life. I think I'm not alone.

Bush trusted Rudy and Rudy is friends with Mafia.

If Thompson's TV character were a bumbler who brought unfounded charges against innocent people, Innocent people? Clinton?!? This line would be hilarious if it weren't for the fact that lefties actually think this way.

FTA: The “controversy” is, well, real life. Thompson’s most prominent actual legal experience was, in fact, a disaster. As chairman of the Senate Governmental Affairs Committee in 1997, he dramatically claimed to have found evidence that the Chinese government had bribed the Clinton administration. But, over the course of the hearings, Thompson was able to prove nothing of the sort, and the affair proved a total humiliation.
Help! We’re going to hear about this again and I don’t know any details. What happened here? I am hoping to bring some liberal relatives to Fred’s table and need info.
