I did a search; couldn't believe this hadn't been posted. Russert spells out I-R-A-K on the air.

Seen it spelled both ways. One is probably just and English version.

It's not unusual to see it spelled IRAK in Iraq, either.

IRAK is the German and I think also Spanish spelling.

And, more importantly for the MSM, Irak is also the French spelling.
