The reason Al Queda isn’t uleashing suicide bombers here is the same reason Japan only tried disultry attacks on the US mainland. They’d already stirred up a hornets nest and the amount of damage they could do paled beside the prospect of a citizenry aroused even more.
The Japanese did try to send balloons that would start a pandemic, but that effort failed. One wonders how many Al Queda balloons have been sent this way that failed or were caught.
