What message did Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid send....
Center For Individual Freedom ^ | April 29, 2007

What message did Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid send to patriotic Americans and our brave men and women in uniform when he proclaimed... "this war is lost?"

Translated into plain language, Reid figuratively spit in the face of our American soldiers, sailors and marines and told them: "You're risking your lives for nothing..."

Harry Reid's reckless undermining of our American troops took place just weeks after Nancy Pelosi convened her unauthorized meeting -- possibly in violation of the Logan Act --with Syria's President, a know supporter of terrorism!

What is going on here?

Harry Reid has sent the identical message Tokyo Rose broadcast to our troops in the Far East during World War II. After the war, Tokyo Rose was tried and convicted of treason.

But, then again, Tokyo Rose wasn't the Majority Leader of the Senate.

In response to Senator Reid's reckless comments, Investors Business Daily called for his resignation:

"In aiding and comforting the enemy in wartime, Reid has betrayed the office he holds, shamed the Nevadans he represents and made the Democratic Party he leads synonymous with surrender. There is one way he can repair the damage he's done to the nation: step down."

We could not have put it better -- except for one problem:

Reid will never step down voluntarily.

He's too bloated with power, too corrupted by partisan greed, too willing to put politics above the interests of our brave men and women in uniform.

He must be pressured to step down

It is hard to tell the difference between Harry Reid, Jack Murtha and Tokyo Rose or Ayman al Zawahiri - their remarks are nearly identical.

Heard a good one on the radio yesterday. So, Harry Reid (along with Pelosi, Murtha, et al; the undermine the Armed Services crowd; the ‘white flag’ waivers) keep saying that (and are right of course) in that “the war is lost!”. Well that means we lost, right. So, if there is a loser there must be a winner. Will Reid or any of the others in his ‘Posse’ step up to the microphone and tell us, uneducated and uninformed, who was the winner! I’m still waiting.

If there is not a concerted effort by Reid’s home constituents, then we know what sort of ilk elected him... a bunch of cowardly anti-merican, terrorist-supporting, traitors.

It’s past time for a new McCarthy. But this time, it wouldn’t be just communists being outed... It’s time to out the socialists and the terrorist supporters.

Hooray Jeff Mazzella! Outstanding post yoe!

Harry POS Reid ranks right up there as one of the most despicable people ever elected to congress.

I have this to say about that:
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket Also it is not the Troops that are the only ones affected. This treasonous behavior going unchecked affects the Nation as a whole! If the war is lost as the Reidtard has spoken then we as a nation have lost because we are the ones that have supported and sent our very best into this noble battle. The war is not lost nor will it be.

The old timers in Nevada were (and still are) good, down-to-Earth, rather conservative people. But Las Vegas is probably the fastest growing urban area in the country, and guess where those new residents are moving from??

This is wrong. Reid’s message was to the enemy. “If you kill more of our soldiers, there is a dividend. The more brutal, the better for you because it brings you closer to democrat delivering victory to you”

Anyone who remembers anything about World War II, or has studied anything about World War II, will understand and remember that during World War II, the Japanese developed a way to demoralize the American forces. The Japanese psychological warfare experts developed a message they felt would work.

They gave their psychological warfare script to their famous broadcaster "Tokyo Rose" and every day she would broadcast this same message packaged in different ways, hoping it would have a negative impact on American GI's morale.

What was that demoralizing message?

It had three main points:

1.Your President is lying to you.

2.This war is illegal.

3.You cannot win the war.

4.You have lost this war.

Sound familiar?

Is it because

Tokyo Hillary,

Tokyo Harry,

Tokyo Teddy,

Tokyo Nancy,

Tokyo Durbin,

Tokyo Kerry,

etc. have all learned from the former enemies of our country and have picked up the same message and are broadcasting it on

Tokyo CNN,

Tokyo ABC,

Tokyo CBS,

Tokyo NBC,

etc., to our troops?

The only difference is that they claim to support our troops before they demoralize them. Tokyo Rose told the American Troops she was on their side too.

Whenever I hear people talking about messages our government sends or public diplomacy I think they must live in a tree. CNN and Hollywood export vile anti-Americanism 24/7 all over the world. Porter Goss told a story about a young Muslim who approached him saying America is a bad country based on what he saw on Baywatch. Goss admitted that he did not know what Baywatch is.

I would love to have a yard sign with the picture & quote from Andrew Jackson. If you decide to create any or if you can find someone who can create them inexpensively (less than $20), freepmail me please.

Thanks, H-O

I kinda wish everyone here who was like “oh man screw the republicans lets show them for not being conservative enough” would go an admit they were wrong to not vote against the democrats. Speaker of the House Pelosi? How did this happen!

It would be interesting to put together a graphic on the stats of the DemocRAT Representatives that put on “conservative” clothes to get elected. There’s a lot of slinging crapola about JulieAnnie being the only one that can defeat any LIEberal the Dems put up in 08. Facts about “who” got elected and what their platform was may silence the critics on whether a “conservative” can be elected President.
