This rebuild should be alot easier than the work needed after the Earthquake - this time it is just replacing a couple sections of overpass, not putting in an entire new freeway.

After the North Ridge Earth quake they had the Santa Monica freeway opened in 85 days. The contract had a $200,000 per day bonus for early finish.

I hope they didn't rebuild it one on top of the other? I was glued to my TV watching that whole thing. I felt traumatized just watching it.
