Politically speaking, however, Dean going after Giuliani at this stage could possibly help him, and get all of these questions addressed now rather than later.

Dean is not stupid.
From the very beginning the “CW” was that RG could win a general but could not survive the R primary.
What they r now concerned about is that ... despite all the noise about his views, private life etc ... his favorability/unfavorability rating (most imporatant poll at this point) is still higher than anyone ... by a substantial margin...and just tool an uptick.
His speech Monday night forced all four main D candidates respond like Pavlov’s dog.

RG pulled in $10 million in March and expected to pull in north of $30 million in 2nd Q. He now has organizations in all 50 states and this weeks Quinnipace polls shows him beating an D in the 6 key swing states.

Why? Read Steve Forbes column on why he endorsed him ... although they disagree on several issues.

You certainly should do everything to defeat him if you believe in someone else ... give all the money you can...but to repeat Dean’s comments is just playing their game.

You need to accept that it is very likely RG will be the nominee and the other choice is Hillary.
