The proper analysis of what you propose is exceedingly complex, counterintuitive, expensive, logistically a monumental undertaking, calls for war fighting system not available in sufficient numbers, and historically never been accomplished going back to the era of King Xersis, Alexander The great and even up to the Ottoman Empire and WW I. And that would be if we hadn’t already exhausted our forces and supply capabilities on the Iraq misadventure and the loss of the availabilities of reserve and national guard aviation resources. I’d be happy to explain the extreme difficulties of the Iran situation and the our current inabilities to undertake such an operation successfully in our present strategic, tactical and logistical posture but it would require a large chapter, if not a volume, to do so.

Hey middie,Great history obfuscation. Iran lasts 6 days, no exhausted troops or depleated stores needed. Naval Air, Present and accounted for sir.We might lose a ship but Iran ceases to exist as a military power. Israel will of course be allowed to destoy Nazi-Hizbollah in place.

I'm only an amateur historian, but I'd be grateful to read any works you may have published.
