Not my first, nor last close encounter of a Moose kind. Once, while innertubing on the Henry Fork of the Snake river, near Yellowstone, I drifted under some high willows. I felt water drops on my head, and looked up to see the underside of a moose’s nose. I think I levitated to the other side of the river.
