I guess that is one way to drain the pool of islamofascists. I don’t like it though. I don’t like seeing kids die at the hands of islamofascists — even if they are their own kids.

Well, maybe you are to look at it not as "kids dying at the hands of islamofascists" but as "islamofascists dying out".
