The link takes you to a media player that does not appear to be working at the moment.

On another note, my kid had trouble with a teacher not allowing her to go to the bathroom. She finally told the teacher, “I will piss myself here and now, then sue your ass and the school.”

That teacher has calmed her crap on bathroom priviledges.

omg, what is it with public school these days. My 1st grader came home with a note asking parents to come and clean the school for summer break.

When I was in school we had janitors. They even want someone to leaf blow the parking lot.

What are the teachers doing for work over the summer? Can’t they clean?

There’s no “written” story on Fox, only the video that talks about the incident. The video doesn’t have the actual incident... sheesh.

...and the custodians/groundskeepers will STILL expect to get paid $15/hour for whatever it is they do.

The link is working for me, you just have to wait for the commercial to end.

It seems the 14-year-old kid had to go to the bathroom, but the teacher wouldn’t let him and threatened him with suspension if he left the room. She gave him a bottle and told the class to turn their heads.

That is BS, the teacher certainly ought to be investigated over this.

I heard an ad from the teachers union last week (here in California) which stated that if they just had 40% more money, then our school could actually teach the kids. During one of our former governor's administration the percentage of state money going to schools was double, but it still was not enough. I am convince that if every working American turned 100% of their earning over to the schools, they would still be whining about not having enough money to teach properly.

Oh yes, we passed a bond issue here so that we didn't have to have year round school. Well guess what, we still have it. The explanation is that the teachers like it better that way. However, during the campaign we were told all about the families where siblings could not vacation together. I don't trust anything coming out of an educators mouth anymore. Kinda like the old lawyers joke "How do you know when they are lying"? When there lips are moving.

"When we grew up and went to school There were certain teachers who, would hurt the children in any way they could"

From my experiences growing up, some teachers are just control freaks. Nothing more, nothing less. I'm not alone in my observation.

I teach in a Christian school-8th/9th grade algebra. I would never deny a student. However, when I think a student might be abusing the privilege, I will always ask if it can wait until I am done with the lecture. They usually then “forget” that they urgently had to go. By middle school, a kid should have decent bladder control. However, I never had a student address me with the language your daughter used. That would be at the very least an in-school suspension, if not total expulsion :)!!
