keep in mind that those who are Felons and who have been declared mentally incompetent have lost their Rights to vote, keep and bear arms, etc.

What is your criteria for mentally incompetent? Who makes the call?

If you deny a former felon's Second Amendment Right, why is the Bill of Rights called unalienable?

Don't get your knickers in a bunch. Ironically, 'rehabilitated' armed robbers and the like cannot be prosecuted for not registering a firearm, they are protected from such by the 5th amendment (no self-incrimination).

What is your criteria for mentally incompetent? Who makes the call?

These are not my rules, but the ones currently in use.

I believe the criteria used by the state currently involves involuntary commitment to a mental institution.

As for me, voting Democrat comes pretty close, as a general rule...
