At the risk of attack - I must confess - the 2 times I have seen
Rudy in person - I too was held my his intelligence and his
ability to talk without notes.
Very bright man.

At the risk of getting banned I would like to say Rudy was good to his mother

I guess you didn't see where he said he would put all the effort to combat terrorists into NYC, or at least the money for it. He doesn't consider our borders in need of guarding any more than Bush does. If we don't shut them off at the borders of this country we are not going to win anything except the right to fight terrorist here instead of in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Because of this and other liberal ideas of his I don't consider him intelligent, but just another liberal Rino.

This is one of Rudy’s strong points. His other is his record as a reformer. He could run on these things and possibly convince conservatives to vote for him. But he ain’t, at least until now.
And right now, he is about as far “right” as he’s gonna get.
