Nope, he isn’t. His plan is based on history and there won’t be that much fighting back or opposition. There will be no way to organize and most “cold dead fingers” people will cave in the end, just like in Australia and other places.

Sorry, but the guy nails the plan.

It’s one thing to fight to the death yourself but will you have the wife and kids leave the house first? Or will you arm them and go down as a family? Won’t that look lovely on CNN.

You're right about the first wave. People will probably cave in, but then the retaliations will start. Hot tip about an armory, the jack booted goon squad goes to investigate and it turns out that the house is full of ANFO - bang. Or the house turns out to be an anti-gun newspaper editor, but someone puts radio control bang devices around it so that the Swat team thinks it's under fire. Or there is an HMG in the back of a pickup (called a technical in Africa I believe) waiting for the SWAT van to arrive and riddles it before they can deploy and then drives off. And these are just some of the things that occur to me. I'm sure there are plenty of inventive minds out there.

I agree with you there won't be much fighting back. People will not be blockaded in their houses firing down on the swat team, although there will be some of that.

What there will be are hunting trips. Some will decide it is time to get out that list. Various politicians, media figures, "do-gooders," local liberal loudmouths, and all of the families and staff will be in danger. Time will be of the essence once the plan is out. The JBT's can't get every gun at once, and that is to the advantage of gun owners.

Also with the internet, names addresses and other info on the gun grabbers will spread very quickly. After a few targets are hit, many of the others will have second thoughts.

Once it becomes the policy of the government to confiscate firearms, then all government authority loses its legitimacy. You don't sit around waiting for these people to come to you. You dare not wait.

All police lose their legitimacy. Similarly, the army and national guard lose their legitimacy.

There would be no justification for anybody wearing a police uniform or a military uniform. If anybody does, then they would be claiming legitimacy for an unConstitutional gun confiscation. They would be the enemy.

As much as a uniformed officer might wish to continue drawing pay while such confiscations are contemplated, they would have an obligation to set aside their uniforms. Failing to do so makes them legitimate targets.

So, let's see what options a person might have.

He can sit idly at his own home waiting for the confiscators to arrive, risking the lives of his own family. Or he can visit those who threaten to confiscate firearms and let their families be at risk.

I have read that about one-third of the population during the American Revolution supported the rebels. About one-third were loyalists, and the remaining one-third were just trying to survive and remain in the middle. None of those roles was easy or without risk.
