Unbelievable. As bad as Boren wanted to cover this over, I still can't believe he allowed this, maybe even instigated it.

ping to some of those I remember who were following this story.

Gee, maybe we should put a memorial to McVeigh in OK City and memorials to the 19 murderers of 9/11 in NY and Shanksville.

And don’t forget the lastest one a commoration for Cho.

“A Norman police bomb expert has said he believes the bomb went off accidentally and that the student had further plans.”
Yet it was glossed over in the national media.
Wonder when Cho’s memorial is coming.

A Norman police bomb expert has said he believes the bomb went off accidentally and that the student had further plans.
And common sense says the same thing. If this guy had succeeded, it could have made the death toll at Columbine and more recently at Va Tech look small. But they’re putting memorials up to him on the OU campus.

No doubt Margaret Thatcher was humbled to be in the same league as Katie

Weird (Couric, Thatcher) to have a Memorial Stone, bein as though they are still alive.
To: JustaCowgirl; All
Somebody should dig up the stone or deface it in some manner.

Good grief. That’s utterly ridiculous. Next thing you know someone will want memorials to the terrorists at the 9-11 Memorial. And Timothy McVeigh at the Oklahoma Murrah Bldg. memorial.

Weird (Couric, Thatcher) to have a Memorial Stone, bein as though they are still alive. That does seem kind of strange, but not as strange as a memorial to a suicide bomber, and quite possibly a wannabe mass murderer.
Isn't James Garner still alive as well? Or did I miss something.

At first I too was outraged but this has possibilities. Think of it, the "thank you for not blowing us up" memorial. I dub thee appeasement rock. Think of the protest possibilites.

Thanks, that was definitely Value Added! I knew I was forgetting the lead poster on this issue, but I just couldn’t pull up the poster name out of memory.
