It gets worse. Chopper pilots I know are telling me that they’ve flown missions in support of ground patrols at night when they see thru night vision device groups of armed men running towards the patrol and cannot fire until the men actually open up on the patrol, all according to the rules of engagment.
The only bright side is that these pilots fire a burst or two in front of the pack of men , in violation of the rules and with a blind eye from their immediate command, and it seems to discourage the terrorists’ progress. These pilots do so knowing that they can be brought up on charges by worthless JAGs and investigators. They would rather be prosecuted than let a Soldier or Marine die unnecessarily.
Absolutely nucking futs.
We might as well let the Dems and the ACLU run the show. At least they might eventually end up with the blame.
