Although I would like Russia to be a part of the EU, it’s not necessary for Russia to join the EU in order to promote security, prosperity and close cooperation in our part of the world.

- I’ve never heard any Western European saying Russians aren’t Europeans. Both Russians and Western Europeans agree there are many differences though. No doubt about that.
I haven’t visited Russia yet (I will though), but from what I can tell there are just as many differences between Northern and Southern Europe as there are between Western and Eastern Europe.
This is whats odd...this story is not presented on CNN, Fox, or any US news network with any amount of urgency. Why?
