I’ve seen a number of columns since VT saying that we need to repeal the 2nd.
I don’t remember this after previous such tragedies, as it was assumed that laws could handle any controls desired.
It appears that a consensus is gradually building that the 2nd does indeed protect individual right to own weapons. This is a huge and positive change from previous decades, when it was assumed that it could just be ignored.

The change in name order is based on his parent’s request. When they came over here they wanted to be more American so they put their surname at the end like Americans. (Good for them.)
However, when I first heard this news I thought it was really odd. I can just hear them complaining to some news interviewer saying “I wish you guys would get the name of our murdering son right”.
