Rosie Did Not Jump - She Was Pushed
My twisted mind and 3 Scotches | MB26

Posted on 04/25/2007 8:45:26 PM PDT by MindBender26

As many FReepers know, FR has had the inside track on Rosie O'Donnell's impending deaprture from "The View" since we first posted an article on it last January.

Am in New York tonight and attended a "celabratory" party thrown by some of old CBS cronies to help friends at ABC celebrate Rosie's rushed retirement.

(We had to host them to a party at a CBS watering hole so the ABC types would not be seen celebrating too hearily at their usual hangouts.)

Here is the inside scoop from the ABCers:

Rosie was a marked woman (?) ever since she got into a public pissing contest with Barbara Walters. It was not the first they had fought, but last January, it finally broke into the MSM gossip columns.

Unfortunately, there was no way BW could dump her without paying huge contractual penalties and risk offending the oh-so-important Gay community.

But BW is a very tough woman. She made it to the top "cleanly" when the only way other women did that was either sleeping with the Suits or in one case, sleeping with a sitting (or in this case, reclining) President. (No it was not Slick or his ethical Godfather, JFK.)

BW plays for keeps, and a few days ago when Rosie was particualrly vulgar, F-bomb and all in front of 2000 distinguished women (and, fortunately for BW, 17 teen age girls) (see http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1822558/posts?page=47#47), it gave BW the ammunition she needed.

In the wake of Imus, that kind of thing does not cut in front of kids, and BW knew she had the leverage she wanted. Someone, we will never know, (yeah, sure) called a high ranking official in New York law enforement and "encouraged" them to "inquire about" possible "contributing to the delinguency of a minor" charges.

Since there was a morals clause in her "View" contract, Rosie's "people" knew she was f-ed. (which, if you think about that visually, it's not a pretty sight.)

The Suits made Rosie's people an offer they couldn't refuse: Go quietly, or law enforcement might step in and you will go very painfully.

Rosie knew that would kill her career. ABCers love that she will be going because as they said, the only thing they have had a "View" of recently is her fat horizon-to-horizon arse.

In the words of one very senior ABC on-air talent. "Was Rosie pushed or did she jump? She will be spending the next 3 months trying to wash Barbara Walters' palmprints off her fat backside."

something is wrong w/ the time line.I ain’t buying it as written.
It makes way more sense that Rosie had her comeuppance BEFORE the Matrix and that is why she exploded in language and told Trump to eat her. Also why she didn’t care the kids were there. She had already had her waterloo

"a boulder tumbling down a mountain or something."

More like a boulder-sized sack of Jell-o, perhaps?

Maybe Rosie "Jabba" O'Donnell could become the spokeswoman for Krispy Kreme.

On second thought, maybe not.

I had a friend who was worked in the Johnson White House so I had heard stories about him

I heard some story decades ago of a woman guest staying at LBJ's ranch (while he was Pres.) who was startled to find him coming into her room, walking up to the bed and saying, "Move ovah. This is youah President."

But that's nowhere near as famous as the "Ho Chi Minh will never get this" episode.

Well my story is that Johnson got a woman who worked in the WH pregnant and one of his aides married her to keep the matter quiet. I suppose this could be researched
Haven’t heard about Ho Chi Minh....what was that about?

At some top level White House meeting to discuss Vietnam strategy, he pulled a certain, er, uh, “organ” out of his pants, laid it on the table, and said, “Ho Chi Minh will never get this”.
