Thanks for telling us about Romney. I missed that. Now I wish others would join Romney and Hunter in speaking out against Reid.
I agree. It's long overdue. I think the things Reid, Durbin and Kennedy et al have been saying ever since Abu Ghraib have been used for purely political reasons and have had a huge effect on dampening the popular support for the war. I often wonder how things may have turned out differently if our country had put politics aside and remained united behind the mission (and/or we had had 200,000 or so more troops!).
In any event, at times like these I agree with this sentiment attributed to Abe Lincoln: Congressmen who willfully take actions during wartime that damage morale and undermine the military are saboteurs and should be arrested, exiled, or hanged.~ President Abraham Lincoln
Apparently, they are saying now that Abe didn't really say this, but I can't blame him if he did.
