Investor tied to failed thrift admits he hid asset
Bill Lodge. Dallas Morning News. Dallas, Tex.: May 16, 1995. pg. 23.A

Los Angeles real estate investor Carl Frederick Wehba pleaded guilty Monday in Dallas to a charge that he concealed a Beverly Hills mansion from the receiver of the failed Vernon Savings and Loan Association of Addison.

Mr. Wehba, 49, omitted the mansion from his list of assets during negotiations with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. Those negotiations occurred after the FDIC obtained a $2.5 million judgment against Mr. Wehba for loans that were not repaid before Vernon's collapse.

They're killing me on FR just b/c I had three wives, several mistresses,
was honored by NARAL, donated to Planned Parenthood, and marched
for gay rights under the NAMBLA banner."
