Former senator, commentator and actor Fred Thompson will provide regular opinion and analysis on ABCRadio.com. The network says the Fred Thompson Report will discuss issues and events that affect all Americans. Audio versions of many of the commentaries will also be made available on ABCRadio.com.
The Internet allows as never before a real dialogue among the American people. There has never been a more important time in recent history to be informed as a nation, and my hope is that my daily commentary will contribute to that discussion, said Thompson. Im looking forward to using the medium to its fullest.
There is a clear demand to hear from Senator Thompson. Its obvious that listeners, if not America, seek his leadership on issues that matter. Radio has already provided an excellent platform to inform and educate listeners seeking his opinionthe Fred Thompson Report is another extension to deliver his respected opinion, said John McConnell, SVP/Programming, ABC Radio Networks.
Thompson, a former Republican Senator from Tennessee is well known for his current television role on NBCs Law & Order. For the past year, Thompson has been working with ABC News Radio as a Special Program Host and Senior Analyst, hosting special reports and doing vacation fill-in for Paul Harvey.
Who the heck is whining? I DON’T WHINE BUDDY! Why don’t you do a search. I have consistently said that I will support the nominee and so have the other Rudy people BUT YOU HAVE CONSISTENTLY AND CONVENIENTLY IGNORED THAT and in your warped mind have created us as some sort of made-up liberal Monster to bash at your convenience. Well it ain’t working. I know what I have said. And Everyone here knows I have if they have ever read my posts about who I will vote for in the general election.
I'll bet you money you couldn't identify where I stand politically on any issue. You don't pay attention to such trivialities as actual political positions.
I’m glad there have been a lot of threads about Giuliani — our research and discussions about him have exposed a lot more of his baggage (and I’m not talking about the personal stuff) than would have been brought to light if there were a Giuliani embargo around here.
Let’s get the positive and negative out about ALL candidates. The only things I dislike are vicious little unsupported rumors, and too-personal attacks on the candidate’s supporters (I’d prefer to keep the focus on the candidates themselves).
I think he will run if he really wants to. I think he’s just taking his time. Hedging his bets so to speak. Hey why not make some bucks in the meantime while you are waiting for make a decision. Then when you have thought about it long and hard and have seen how the general public reacts to you. GO FOR IT!
It shows a level of desperation on your part. Instead of sticking to the issue of the debate, you want to change the direction of debate. That is pure juvenile behavior. I'm not the issue pal. Unbecoming of a long time FReeper such as yourself.
The debate is about FR`s #1 RudyBooster attempting to obfuscate her position after months of supporting a liberal for Prez. She fears severe recrimination by the owner of this forum and rightly so.
One more time. FR is a conservative forum. We advance conservatism on this forum. Not liberalism. And we cut no slack to supporters of liberal candidates.
WRONG! I don't fear it - Its unavoidable but I don't fear it. And it will be up to him and not you. If He want to ban me let him, its his forum. Fear of being banned I do not have. But I think you do because you seem to be a follower not a leader.
Restraint my butt! I think Jim is not finished purging FR of Rudy`s supporters. And FR`s #1 RudyBooster is a prime target. Whether Jim zots A51 is his decision. Not mine. But it is my decision to push back hard against any poster who continues to promote any liberal candidate, or any form of liberalism on this conservative forum. If you don't agree with me, then you don't agree with the direction Jim wants to go.
Liberals remain the #1 targets for conservatives on FR. In fact, its always been that way. The #1 RudyBooster is no exception.
I see you have called JimRob. I knew you couldn’t post without doing that. Like I said you are a follower not a leader.
When FR starts pushing hard and I mean hard against abortion, gay marriage, homosexual education forced on our school children, pandering to illegal aliens, gun control, McCaine-Feingold type usurpation, global warming, etc, etc, even if supported or advanced by the GOP, then I fully suspect certain types of moderate/liberal Republican supporters are probably going to be a little uncomfortable here. We will be fighting for traditional American conservatism no matter who we have to fight against and Im afraid thats going to piss off some folks.

You still are proving my point! You still need support.
A51 deserves nothing of the kind except in your vindictive and verbally obscene mind. Get off your high horse and act like a gentleman for once in your life.
We could have used about half whats been posted on FR over the last eight months or so. The personal attacks against RudyG have a place in the debate. I'll let others advance that angle. I like getting the facts about Rudy`s liberalism out front, were everyone can see it and have the opportunity to digest it. In the end, enough conservatives won't buy Rudy`s liberalism and gun grabbing-abortionism, and that will sink his candidacy.
Let’s see:
He publicized his cancer.
He began doing political commentary on important issues during his Paul Harvey gig.
He has upped his public appearances and interviews.
He is blogging on issues that conservatives may have questions about.
Now he has accepted an open ended job in which he is going to be able to demonstrate his vast political wisdom, and which will not trigger the equal time rule if it is part of a regularly scheduled news show.
Looks like a shrewd candidate to me.
You didn't dare show your forum face on JimRob`s outstanding thread: Will FR embrace socialism to make way for Rudy Giuliani as a Republican presidential candidate?, and we all know why!
You can dish it out, but you can't take it. Never have, never will. You're a weak sister! LOL
I appreciate that a "true conservative" doesn't need to read these things, operating on "true conservative" instinct, but for the rest of us, they're informative.
A solution if you think there are too many, don't read them. Don't post on them. There are plenty of threads out there.
BTW, love the irony of reading this tantrum on a Thompson thread.
LOL You’re too much. The rule is, if you mention a FReeper, you PING that FReeper.
I need no advice from you, liberal.
I don’t need to show my face over there. You guys have fun on there all your own. All of a sudden you need me there? That’s a big LAUGH! HAH!
Thanks, but I’ll be pushing back hard against all the liberals on FR and their political liberalism. That includes taking on FR`s #1 RudyBooster.
