Rudy Giuliani to college kids jittery over the Virginia Tech shootings.....at New England College.... defended what critics call his evolving position on gun control. In the 1990s, Giuliani said, he did support an extension of a federal assault-weapons ban and stricter anti-gun enforcement on city streets. "I did use our own laws in NYC very effectively".........But he said, "I agree with the Second Amendment"..... Giuliani said federal law shouldn't bar states from adopting their own gun-control measures. "What works in NY might not work in Texas," he said.

That's all we need to know, brother. Rudeo should STHU on the RKBA.
By now Rudeo's got his campaign technique honed to a fine art: (1) Rudeo figures out how many sides there are on a given issue, (2) he then kneels down, (3) puckers up, and (4) panders to all sides. If that fails, (5) Rudeo issues a retraction, completely denying his previous remarks.
As Clarence Thomas said, “The substantial effects test is no test at all. It is a blank check.”
Rudeo is the “Harold Hill” of politics-——says whatever he thinks the voting public wants to hear.
I’ve now watched Rudy’s little dance long ehough, time to turn away in disgust.
RINO Rudy—great on attitude, but wrong on the issues.
IMHO—will do for the National GOP what Pataki did for NY’s, i.e. total and complete destruction (then they sow the fields with salt).
Giuliani also said federal law shouldn't bar states from adopting their own gun-control measures. "What works in New York might not work in Texas," he said.
So does he agree with the Second Amendment or not?
“He’s given all of us a black eye. After he works over a town, next salesman to come in gets automatic tar and feathers, and then gets ridden out of town on a rail. You won’t laugh when it happens to you. Your hair never grows back!”
And we're supposed to care right now because...why?
how can I trust this man with my guns?
I don’t care if you care or not. :)
Rudi boy has been anti-gun for years. All the pandering and all the hot air, and all his BS doesn’t fool anybody. Moot point since he’s not really going anywhere in this campaign...merely ego satisfying, no more.
It just kind of seemed out of place in the current discussion. I mean, Rudy’s backtracking and flip-flopping all over the place, and there’s not a single word from you about it.
I mean, come on. “I agree with the Second Amendment.” How can Rudy say that with a straight face?
There are several people I wouldn’t vote for under any circumstances. Osama bin Obama is first on the list. The lying liberal gun grabbing POS Julie Annie is fourth.
“I agree with the Second Amendment”....
Was he honest enough to add, “But I have no freaking clue as to what the Second Amendment really means”...?
You’ll have to do better than sophistry. Why don’t you try arguing the actual topic of this thread?
“How can Rudy say that with a straight face?”
Could it be because he’s a liberal and liberals lie?
BTW, when a liberal talks out of both sides of his mouth (as they always do) which side do we believe? Answer: The “left” side. ;^)
My guess is that you are underwhelmed with Rudy Giuliani’s gun policy, and his lack of comprehension of the Second Amendment.
“So does he agree with the Second Amendment or not?”
There was a guy in our local paper who I think follows Rudy’s opinion on the second amend.
He said, “I completely support the 2nd amendment. All hunters and sportshooters have to right to own guns” This guy doesn’t get it!
