Yep we are on dangerous ground here. All a court has to do is declare someone a danger to themselves or others, and there go your gun rights. A person who is a danger to themselves or others should not be on the street but should be in jail or an institution.
They have been since 1968.
Not that Patty Murray or Maria Cantwell will pay any attention, but I sent them my letter to vote no on HR 297.
I will send my Congresscritters tomorrow.
In the event someone does not have a copy of the Constitution, the Second Amendment reads:
“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”
