The thing about politics being 99 percent BS is one thing in the silly original post in this thread that I halfway agree with. The brown stuff is ankle deep in Washington these days, and flame away but I don't think the GOP is without sin along those lines. Or does this whole mess about pushing Giuliani to conservatives as our only hope for victory in 2008 not seem like barnyard refuse?

But that begs the question ... do we accept it as a given, as the original poster seems to be saying? Or do we work to change it. I vote for the latter.
