Thanks be to God that FR is filled with “experts” who can dictate pricing to major corporations! Where do we find such men? [sniff]

My, such indignation from someone who thinks THEY have a right to dictate what I am worth on the job. I don't have a picture of a screw handy to post, but U would follow the pick should I had one. You're smart enough to get the drift. Blackbird.

You need to get one thing straight, my statist friend. You dictate what you are worth. Not I, George W. Bush, or the Romulans. Nor should Uncle Sugar step in because you think life isn't fair. Deal with it.

You need to get one thing straight my commie loving FRiend, I didn't dictate anything. I posted a link to hershey.com, replying to mysterio that hershey did indeed raise prices. I presented that FACT with the FACT that they are still going to move production to your chicom buddies. Your globullist corporations that deal with your chicom buddies have made a deal with the devil. They are on the verge of having their asses handed to 'em. Deal with that. Blackbird.

Hersheys is the crappiest chocolate in the WORLD. It has a grainy unpleasant mouthfeel and does not have a good flavor. Do a taste test with a Hershey bar and a Cadbury. You don’t even NEED to go up against anything Swiss or Belgian. Hersheys is awful.

They raised prices and are moving to China? Unbelievable.

Did anyone think they'd move 7,000 miles away, hire .85 per hour Chinese workers, and then lower their prices?

The jokes on us.

You should probably reread your #161, and revise and extend your last comment.

I love how some of these people kick up all this dust in a effort to confuse and deviate from why these corporations are moving to China, Mexico etc.

It’s all about .85 an hour wages, and corporate higher profits.

This is not complicated.

Open question to the forum: which comment is more likely made by a "communist," if communists post on FR?

A. Hershey wants to leave because of, we can surmise, the cost of doing business (labor, material, regulation, whatever).

B. More likely, Hershey suffers from the same deadly sin as most other un-American corporations, GREED!

A, or B?

LOL! If you follow this thread, First it was those damned Union Workers, then it isn’t the wages and benny’s at all. Next, it is goobermint regulation, then it isn’t. Then one of the more noted FRee to be Traitors seemed to imply that any gain by moving over there was negated by the enormous cost of shipping it back here, then was corrected by another FRee to be Traitor. Those Unions (actually it’s any of US scumbag American workers) are crippling the Corporations and “forcing” them to lie in bed with Communist, of course my link to hersheys.com and their rosy outlook on their own future coupled WITH price increases kind of put that puppy to rest (until I was accused of dictating how much a Corporation can earn, which didn’t happen). I’m tempted to drag a dollar bill around just to see which one of the traitors comes out on top. One of those curiosity things that begs for a demonstration. Blackbird.

Have you been following any of the FDA/Food Dog Food threads? If so you have an answer on why we are interested in this.

I don’t participate with strawmen, nice attempt to dodge though. Hey, you are solidly on the public record in support of getting in bed with the COMMUNIST CHINESE. I’m not. Enjoy it while it last. Blackbird.

Can you imagine? If only conservatives would realize that the worker must control the means of production, and failing that, citizens should voluntarily hand over more of their hard-earned cash because the "enlightened" know which jobs are more important than others (not that that sort of thing would ever be susceptible to political machinations). If we can't trust the government to make things right, who can we trust?

One thing I am certain of.. you eat on a daily basis the same and I do...

I think we all have a common interest in knowing the food is safe no matter where it comes from, but when we find out the chinese were purposely adding melamine to wheat and rice products to increase the nitrogen levels and in turn artificially up the protein count and their profit on the grains - when THIS country is paying farmers not to grow crops, something is not right and should be discussed and disected.

Dogs are the canary in the coal mine because so many owners never rotate their diets, but rest assured this has found it's way into the human food chain as well.. we know, for instance, it was found in the urine of some hogs in NoCal last weekend...

I won’t put a piece of food in my mouth that has a label with the words China, India, or Mexico on it.
