Obviously, his abuse is not new. And I feel sorry for people who can’t tell the difference between someone losing it (which we all do) and someone who is abusive.
Question. Would you let your boss or your neighbor or your kid or your spouse get away with talking to you like that? If not, it is abuse. If one of those people talked to me like that I would put them on my “never darken my door again” list at the least, and at the most I would call the cops.
It was on David Letterman (you can get it on YouTube). It’s not bad - it would never lead you to believe he was going to abuse his daughter verbally a couple of hours later.
