Most definitely he has a long road ahead of him. In July ‘99 my husband was in a head-on collision (he was stopped signaling to make a left, was rear-ended and pushed into oncoming traffic in the other lane) he broke his knee, below it actually, medically a torn lateral meniscus and fractured tibia. He had surgery consisting of a bone graft, a plate and five screws. Thirteen days in two hospitals, the second for rehab. He was out of work for 8 months (he’s a tile setter, knees required!) on disability, and lots of physical therapy, from crutches to a cane, learning to walk again. Luckily that’s all that happened to him and he WAS wearing his seatbelt. His leg must have been slammed into the door.

So yes, Corzine has a long and painful recovery ahead.

Wonder if he will wear his seat belt from now on?

By the way, I saw the picture of the SUV and did not see either the drivers or passengers air bags deployed. Did they have both of them disabled?
