Aside from the fact that this is a pretty good publicity stunt, this story shows the economics illiteracy that runs rampant.

I'm not so sure about that. If you were with a group of hungry guys, would you want to go to a place that gives you food and a lecture about how evil and unfair everything is, or just someplace that serves food?

Just the food for me please, and hold the whine.

“Aside from the fact that this is a pretty good publicity stunt, this story shows the economics illiteracy that runs rampant.”

It’s only for one day, isn’t any different from ‘unaccompanied women get in free,’ and is no more offensive than senior citizen discounts.

Equal pay for equal performance is much more the case in the US than they think, though. Women make less on average due to lifestyle choices and refusing to dedicate their lives to their jobs the way many men do.

Amen. For one thing, if this were the whole story, a company that hired ONLY women would get much more bang for the buck, and ought to cream any competitor with ease.
