Because up Texans pay plenty of money in taxes for the state to provide adequate roads. It is our state and if we screw up, it is our screw up. It should be owned by the taxpayers and not some Spanish company that is owned by whom? Arabs? French? Russians? Chinese? Japanese? Who knows. I just know the Spaniards do not have this kind of money floating around in their economy in order to control all the projects they are involved with in North America.

Spain hasn't been an impoverished backwater for a number of decades. They have money but there's limited investment opportunity in Spain itself.

Like, what would you do ~ buy another greenhouse?

Take a look at Google Earth.com and find Southern Spain. That's just about the largest array of greenhouses in the world, second only to the greenhouses in Italy.

Think about it too ~ whole place seems to be covered in greenhouses.
