I must say that other threads have been much more pleasant to read the last couple days. And I don't mean that because it's an echo chamber (it isn't) - I mean it because the debate is once again substantive. It's been quite some time since you could read a thread without wading through a bunch of logical fallacies, spam and personal nonsense totally unrelated to the topic. Very true! We haven't lost anything, these are people who never really belonged here in the first place. FR is a forum for CONSERVATIVES to discuss issues. We should not have to debate basic conservative principles.

We should not have to debate basic conservative principles. Exactly. I don't come here seeking to determine whether abortion is right or wrong, or whether the government should be spending more or less money. I know that already. I come here to debate how to change the status quo and poke holes in liberal arguments.
