Please know that you describing me as a liberal freeper has the same effect as using a racial slur. I don't like it at all. It hurts because I HATE liberals.

If ANY republican, conservative, or whatever came on here and started supporting Hillary, Obama, or any of the other Democrat candidates, this entire forum would rightfully call them a liberal. They would have given up any conservative credibility they may have had because they've turned coat and backed a liberal. Supporting Giuliani is NO different. If you support a liberal and you do it openly on Free Republic, it is going to be assumed that you've gone liberal. Giuliani is a liberal and that is the consequences of supporting a liberal.

Good morning Spiff.

Of course my hate for the Clintons is pathological. And, I've learned a lot in here lately about Rudy...and sincerely hope Fred Thompson declares.

Luke referred to me as a 'liberal freeper' because on my profile page I admit to having a soft spot for illegal immigrants whose ONLY sin is sneaking into the country to build a better life.

Because I have no firsthand experience or knowledge of the terrible conditions and crime rate of the border towns and some sanctuary cities, I tend to judge the situation the way it affects my immediate geographic service area.

Even though I hail from The Peoples Republic of Maryland, we've absorbed the illegal immigrant without even an once of pain. Our local ecnomy has thrived and social services don't seem to be strained as a result...so far.

In summary, just because I support a fast track to citizenship for illegals that have put down roots, jobs, businesses, homes, leases, etc., that doesn't make me a liberal. As a businessman, I can readily see the negative domino effect that would occur if all were rounded up and deported. The result would be devastating...thus I can understand Bloomberg's assertion that NYC would go into a depression if the illegal disappeared tomorrow.

That's the reality of it....not simply a possibility.

Cheers!
