Whatever "meltdown" took place here began when a small group of posters orchestrated a campaign to browbeat the rest of us into supporting a completely unaccepable candidate. Like their candidate, they told us the issues we care about most are the divisive concerns of a tiny minority, so we should just "Get over it!" and jump on the bandwagon with them. I've heard all of that before, many times, but I have never, ever heard it on this website, and I joined in '98.
“Complete meltdowns” are how the dross gets removed. I wouldn’t call this one. There are still scads of liberals posting here. Jim’s barely made a dent in ‘em, IMO.
