“I get tired of people trashing those who LEGITIMATELY support Rudy for reasons they perceive to be human safety.”

But you have admit the irony. The one issue voters are Giuliani supporters. On this site it is not only life issues, though that is a hot emotional issue for many. It is that Giuliani leans left on a host of issues...abortion, guns, extra gay rights, open borders...the list goes on and on. None of the conservatives running are perfect but Giuliani is a liberal on most issues.

I'll put it to you the way my CONSERVATIVE editor put it to me:

I'm a one-issue voter: Pro-torture. That pretty well sums up a lot of people's feelings. If you don't begin by protecting the lives of the living, there is no pro-life movement. And that's a fact.

I know. They keep mocking the "single issue voters" but the problem is that with RG, it's not a single issue. I could tolerate him leaning left on one of these issues. If he was pro-choice, but good on everything else, I could live with it. If he was pro-gun control but good on everything else, I could hold my nose and pull the lever for him against the Hildabeast.

But when the Republican candidate is pro-gun control, pro-abortion, and appoints lib judges, he becomes totally unpalatable. People keep saying that RG will put into play states not otherwise in play. Problem is, he loses the red states when he does that so what the bots are really suggesting is that, to win, RG has to run as a democrat and do a better job of it than the democrats themselves. You can't keep the base like that.
