Rudy's strong on the WoT, which I think is and should remain our national priority for the forseeable future. As for the rest, it'll be better than if the Dems had control of Congress and the Executive branch. At worst, it'll stay status quo.
Lying campaign spin.
Fact is, Giuliani thumbed his nose at the law to protect hundreds of thousands of illegal foreign nationals who now reside in NYC. His response to terror attacks in NYC was to go after law abiding citizens and their guns.
I gave Bush that pass in 2004, and he slapped me in the face with it.
Don't misunderstand, I remain a supporter of the President and am proud of the two votes I cast for him. But he squandered my first vote and only got my second vote because of the WOT trump card.
He gave me good judges, like he promised, but he also gave me Campaign Finance (should have vetoed it); No Child Left Behind; Prescription Drug Care; Marines in Prison and al Sadr ruling the roost; etc. etc. etc.
For me, no candidate after Bush gets a pass on everything else because of the WOT.
Tancredo; Hunter; Huckabee ... any number of the candidates or possible candidates can fight the WOT. Giuliani certainly doesn't have a lock on that issue.
We keep hearing that Rudy is tough on terror but exactly what in the hell has he done? I know he left NYC vulnerable before and after 911. I want to know...HOW IS RUDY GIULIANI TOUGH ON TERROR?
