Two reasons come to mind.
One. President Reagan is dead and not here to defend himself.
Two. Rudy IS here and is still saying the same things he has said in the 1990’s.
I missed one thing.
Rudy’s defenders find it easier to bash a ‘dead president’ than they do a ‘live liberal’.
