The one that acknowledges the long-held, and constitutionally correct, position of conservatives, and is prefaced by the statement "I'm not prepared to go there yet"? I think that you're reading far more into "I'm not prepared to go there yet" than anyone else is.

I think that you're reading far more into "I'm not prepared to go there yet" than anyone else is. I'm kinda tired of watching folks acting as if he never said it, and like he has changed his position, which he hasn't.

Also, Mr. Thompson’s comments don’t even begin to address whether he has repented of his support for the egregious anti-First Amendment electioneering provisions of the “Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act.” There is no evidence that I am aware of that would show that he has done so.
