Too bad. You were one of the few Rudyphiles I consider honest and fair.

You guys can give yourself high fives, wihout disruption, as you talk to the choir. Somehow, I doubt we're going to suffer from a lack of liberals around here for a very long time. Even at today's wonderful rate of attrition, it would take years to clear 'em all out.

Can you make it a short, quick goodbye? As a lawyer, I always found your legal analysis to be lacking, to put it mildly.
You will remember the night that Tom Delay announced his withdrawal from his Congressional race, with the idea being that the Texas Republican party could just select his replacement? I, being knowledgeable in the law, immediately said that that could not be done, and that the Republican party would therefore have no candidate on the ballot in this "safe" Republican seat.
You never even so much as responded to any of my posts, but supported the notion that the party could hand select a replacement.
As Judge Sam Sparks held, I was of course 100% right and you were 100% wrong.
I find it hard to accept that you have actually believed this or any one of a number of positions that your have taken on this site. Instead, I think that you have promoted legal positions which you as a self-described moderate seek to achieve regardless of the truth.
This is just but one example of how you have used this site to undermine the conservative cause and to promote your moderate/liberal agenda.

A long slow goodbye. You guys can give yourself high fives, wihout disruption, as you talk to the choir. It's so ironic that you don't see that this is the whole point. We want to talk to the choir of conservatives here on FR that are trying to support and elect conservative candidates. I'm sure we will even have heated debates and arguments over those conservative candidates, but we won't be completely wasting our time arguing over a liberal.
