There are still large swathes of the country where that’s not aberrant behavior.

Marrying your cousin and then arranging to have the marriage annulled years later? Just where is that behavior embraced?

FDR and Eleanor were cousins. In some cultures and some families that is, or was, the way it was done. FDR did not have his marriage annulled of course. He just built a little house for Eleanor her "lady friends", and he had his intimacies as well.

And he was elected to 4 terms in office and managed a world war. A wildly popular President.

Come on, now. They were ONLY married 14 years.(rolling eyesO Rudy said he didn't know that she was his second cousin--he thought she was his third cousin. Yarite. Oh well, maybe the Rudy apologists will believe that crap....lol

You would have thought that SOMEONE at the wedding, reception, anniverseries, family get-togethers, parties, etc,,,,,would have noticed that earlier than THAT!!!! But not according to Rudy...LOL
